GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The beginning stages of work to Bay Beach’s newest ride were shared on Thursday by the amusement park.
Construction to the 10-story Ferris Wheel, named “The Big Wheel”, has begun and is expected to be open to riders by the summer of 2019.
Chance Rides Manufacturing Inc. in Wichita, Kansas, is making The Big Wheel, which will be Bay Beach’s second Ferris wheel.
According to the park, The Big Wheel will be a more slow and scenic ride, while the other Ferris wheel is more of a thrill ride.
