GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Green Bay man who was arrested last week in connection to robberies in the city of Green Bay, has confessed to all five that police have been investigating for the last month.
26-year-old Charles Skenadore was taken into custody at a residence in the 2700 block of Osha He Ta Trail.
“Once Mr. Skenadore was in custody, investigators were able to speak with him a get a confession on these five robberies in the city of Green Bay,” said Police Captain Kevin Warych.
Investigators were able to link him to the robberies at
• Toppers 2042 Main St on November 6th• Elfs Gifts 1132 S Military Abe Nov 8th• Bake My Day 1203 E. Mason St on November 17th• Stoneridge Shell 1053 Velp on November 21st• Subway 2569 W. Mason St on November 25th
“We were able to match up physical evidence, collect witness statements and put all these cases together to recommend five counts of robbery to the Brown County District Attorney.
Police determined that Skenadore stole around $1000 from the five locations, and also learned that motive was drug-related.
Warych said the hard work by investigators goes to show that Green Bay police have zero tolerance for robberies in the community.
“We can provide closure to these businesses, the victims here.”
