GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay police say several people have called to report a man who falsely claims he is with the Green Bay Police Department.
The man refers to himself as “Sergeant Adams,” calling from this number 920-456-0845.
It comes after the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office warned of similar fraudulent calls.
In that announcement, the caller referred to himself as “Deputy Marshall Adams.”
Green Bay officers say the calls can be ignored as they look further into it.
