WAUSAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) – A school evacuation took place Thursday morning at Wausaukee High School due to a vague “bomb threat,” according to authorities.
A student reported to a staff member that a bomb threat was written on the bathroom wall just before 10 AM.
The Brown County Bomb Squad was brought in to investigate and the school notified authorities.
Students and staff were bused from the football field to a local church after evacuating.
There was no threat determined after the school was searched and students re-entered the building around 1 PM.
