GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Metro Fire says four people are without a home after a fire on the city’s east side last night.
At 7:10 p.m. firefighters were called for a report of smoke coming from the roof of a building on the 1200 block of East Mason Street.
When crews arrived on scene they found the fire started in the attic of an upper apartment unit.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire and several hot spots.
No one was injured in the incident. Damage from the smoke and flames is estimated at $30 thousand.
