TOWN OF STEPHENSON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A 36-year-old Kaukauna man is dead after his vehicle rolled over early Sunday morning in rural Marinette County.
The man has been identified as Ryan R. Vandenheuvel.
At 6:20 a.m., the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office was called to Parkland Road in between Allie Way and Orr’s Lane in the Town of Stephenson, where hunters reported seeing a vehicle off Parkland Road upside down with the dead man inside. He was the only person in the vehicle.
Deputies said that the vehicle was going south at the time and went off the road after trying to turn, and then hit a drainage pipe, a small mound, and trees, before landing upside down. They said the vehicle was cold, meaning that the crash happened hours earlier.
This is the eighth traffic death in Marinette County this year.
