ROTHSCHILD, WI (WTAQ) – A silver alert is being issued for a man that may be in northeast Wisconsin.
84-year-old Richard J. Czarnecki was last seen in his vehicle in Wausau around 7:30 PM on Saturday, according to the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
He reportedly asked for directions to Rothschild but wanted to go to Crivitz.
He was reportedly seen an hour later in Birnamwood, driving north on Highway 45.
He was driving a gray 2008 Buick Lucerne with license plate number 794-TJE.
Czarnecki is described as 5-foot-7, 180 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He commonly wears a bolo tie and was last seen wearing black shoes, black pants, and a maroon coat with “Bucyrus Erie” printed on it.
His cellphone sent a signal to a tower in Crandon on Sunday.
