GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Agriculture students at Fox Valley Technical College are getting some real-world experiences with a piece of new technology.
FVTC has introduced students to an Ag Simulator by John Deere.
Agribusiness and farm management students can just hop into the driver’s seat of the combine simulator before using a real one out in the field.
Ag equipment service technician student Kade Johnson tells FOX 11 the simulator is informative.
“This is very helpful for knowing how the machine operates. It’s better for me to know how it works in order to figure out why this went wrong, what went wrong in order to fix it.”
The simulator will be able to help a variety of areas of study including agriculture business, horticulture, and agronomy.
