ONEIDA RESERVATION (WTAQ) – An Oneida Tribal project is adding solar panels on six facilities within the reservation.
The efforts are expected to save about $80,000 per year.
The project has been in the works for four years. In the end, it will provide 800 kilowatts of solar electric power.
The efforts will also possibly reduce carbon dioxide emissions as well.
