GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Green Bay man has been determined competent by a judge to stand trial.
Dmitry Morozov is facing 10 charges after he allegedly set fire to his apartment and attempted to flee from police while naked.
Court records indicate that the three-day trial is scheduled for December 12.
The criminal complaint states that Ashwaubenon Public Safety officers initially had cotact with Morozov on April 9 when they received a complaint from his downstairs neighbor that water was coming through his ceiling. Officers ordered Morozov to take care of the water.
Officers were called back to his apartment later in the day after receiving reports of a fire. Upon arrival, they found a nude Morozov attempting to escape out a window. He was grabbed by officers and arrested.
