GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A fire at a Green Bay apartment building sent one person to a hospital and forced tenants to find another place to stay.
Firefighters were called to 1135 Brosig St. Thursday evening for a report of flames and smoke coming from an apartment.
The person in that apartment was injured and taken to the hospital. There’s no word on their condition.
The fire had spread to a living room, kitchen and ceiling.
Green Bay Metro Fire Department says the fire started in the living room of that apartment but the exact cause is still under investigation.
Damage is estimated at $30,000.
The fire department says the building is uninhabitable for now.
