WAUPACA COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Northeast Wisconsin will be conducting nine days of aerial missions starting on Friday in an attempt to catch speeding motorists.
The monitored roadways will be US 45 and 10 in Waupaca County and I-41 in Outagamie County.
The aircrafts are able to determine vehicle speeds by using highway markings and a timing device.
The aerial officer will notify a ground-bound officer if they notice a motorist violating a speed or traffic law.
