FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – A local fire department is using a donation to educate children on fire safety.
Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue owns an inflatable Survive Alive House after it was purchased and donated by The Francis & Ruth Oberreich Foundation.
Demonstrations on Tuesday utilized the inflatable’s realistic experience of a house fire to educate fifth graders on fire safety tips.
Members of the Fond du Lac Fire Department assisted the children in navigating the inflatable smoky house.
