WAUPACA, WI (WTAQ) – A Waupaca man has been sentenced to six years in prison after being convicted of his 14th drunk driving offense.
64-year-old Daniel Nordell was arrested on May 24 after hitting a mailbox, a speed limit sign, and a utility pole in Farmington.
A breath test revealed that he had a BAC more than double the legal limit at .17% and above the .02% limit he had due to previous convictions, according to officials.
In addition to his prison sentencing, Nordell was also placed on extended supervision for five years on Monday.
He was sentenced to three years in prison after his previous 2006 conviction.
