GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Colleges ranking is out, and several Northeast Wisconsin schools were ranked on the list.
Colleges were ranked in several categories.
Here’s how area colleges and universities fared:
Lawrence University
- 56th (tie) in National Liberal Arts Colleges
- 39th in Best Value Schools
Ripon College
- 120th (tie) in National Liberal Arts Colleges
St. Norbert College
- 127th (tie) in National Liberal Arts Colleges
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay
- 94th (tie) in Regional Universities Midwest
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
- 94th (tie) in Regional Universities Midwest
Marian University
- 118th (tie) in Regional Universities Midwest
Silver Lake College
- 128th-165th in Regional Universities Midwest
Bellin College
- Unranked in Other Schools
Among other Wisconsin schools, UW-Madison was tied for 49th in the National Universities category and 106th in Best Value Schools. Marquette University was tied for 89th in National Universities and 49th in Best Value Schools.
Princeton University took the overall top spot, with Harvard University coming in second, and Columbia University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Chicago and Yale University tied for third place.
