GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Veterans Housing and Recovery Program will be expanded thanks to a federal grant.
The state Department of Veterans Affairs will expand the program, which operates with the goal of getting veterans permanent housing.
The program also provides temporary housing and veterans can stay in the program for up to 2 years.
The grant will allow the program to serve as many as 18 veterans in Green Bay.
The Green Bay facility will hopefully open by October 1st, according to the state Department of Veterans Affairs.
