GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Severe Weather hit the area for the second straight night.
Tornadoes were confirmed in three locations in Fond Du Lac County.
It’s not clear whether the sightings reported in Campbellsport, near Oakfield and near Brandon were of the same tornado or separate tornadoes.
Damage reports included downed trees to roofs being torn off homes.
Meanwhile, many people in Northeast Wisconsin are without power.
Severe storms and flash flooding have created a State of Emergency in six counties in Wisconsin. The counties are: Fond du Lac, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Vernon, and Washington.
“The past ten days have subjected our state to torrential rains and flooding, with homes and businesses damaged or destroyed,” Walker said. “I know Wisconsin will continue to effectively respond to these storms. I’m proud of our National Guardsmen, first responders, and volunteers from across the state who continue to lead the response during the cleanup and recovery.”
Police in several Northeast Wisconsin communities asked drivers to avoid traveling Tuesday afternoon and evening as roadways filled up with water.
Both Main St. and Mason St. on Green Bay’s east-side were flooded during rush hour.
Authorities in Calumet County say they were called to a drainage ditch for a report of an 11-year-old boy who went under the water. The boy was rescued.
Green Bay Police say one of their squad cars was hit while responding to a stalled vehicle.
Captain John Laux told says the driver of one vehicle blew the stop sign at Crooks and Jefferson Street.
