TOWN OF BEAVER, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One man is dead after his SUV crashed into a tree early Saturday morning in rural Marinette County.
At 2:42 a.m., the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office was called to County Hwy. P just west of US 141, where a deputy found a man ejected from the SUV he was driving.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene, having suffered massive head and internal injuries. He was believed to be in his early 30’s.
The investigation showed that the SUV was going west on County Hwy. P, veered off-road to the left east of the intersection of US 141 and County Hwy. P, and then veered off-road to the right on County Hwy. P, west of the intersection of US 141 and County Hwy. P, before hitting the tree.
The crash remains under investigation. This is the fifth traffic death in Marinette County in 2018.
