GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ)- A former Brown County Sheriff deputy has been released from jail, completing his two-year sentence for stealing money from the D.A.R.E program.
Kevin Vanden Heuvel will be on extended supervision for the next four years.
Vanden Heuvel plead guilty to the charges back in March of 2016.
According to prosecutors, Vanden Heuvel and volunteer Early Fuller would help park cars in the D.A.R.E parking lot on Packer game day but would give out fake passes and pocket the money.
It was believed to have been going on for seven years.
