HOWARD, WI (WTAQ)- Heavy smoke was noticed after a fire occurred at Alter Trading on Badgerland Drive in Howard Monday morning.
Officials were called to the metal recycling facility just after 9:00 a.m.
It is unknown what caused the fire, but Howard Fire officials say 30-foot piles of recycle metals caught fire.
One firefighter was hurt, suffering from a bruised ankle from a fall while on scene.
It is unknown what the damage estimate is at this time.
