OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Oshkosh Police say a former employee of the Winnebago Mental Health Institution was arrested for making terrorist threats.
The 44-year-old Oshkosh man was taken into custody Monday.
Brian D. Jacoby was formally charged by the Winnebago County District Attorney’s Office for Terrorist Threats.
He had threatened to go to the Winnebago Mental Health Institution and shoot several people.
When officers took him into custody at his residence, several loaded firearms werelocated there.
Police say the threats were directed toward the health institution and its current employees.
