SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ)- A former treasurer for the Shawano FFA Alumni chapter has been charged with stealing money from the organization.
32-year-old Elizabeth Pahlow of Clintonville was charged with a felony count of theft in a business setting. Pahlow is accused of stealing over $30,000 for personal use.
According to the police report, more than 20 transactions were made in the form of cash withdrawals.
Pahlow said she was having financial problems, and took the money with the intent of paying it back.
The organization is seeking $32,000 in restitution, the complaint states.
