GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK)-Green Bay Southwest High School was the site for a military signing day Tuesday.
The event was put together to recognize those who have committed to serving.
Senior Daniel Backmann said he was honored.
“I thought it was nice, I thought it really respected us. They do all the sports signings and stuff and I believe it gave us an opportunity to show who’s taking an extra step in joining the military.”
A total of 14 students have made that commitment from this year’s class.
