GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Police have a person in custody that they believe has been on the run since a Wednesday shooting on Shawano Avenue.
Green Bay Police Captain Kevin Warych says 28-year-old Morris Quinn of Wrightstown was the fifth person arrested for connection to the shooting, and believe he was the suspect that escaped police during their original arrest attempt Wednesday.
“We have all the people that we have wanted to question pertaining to the shooting.”
Warych says four people were in a vehicle that they encountered near the scene of the shooting on Wednesday and three were arrested at the time.
“As the investigation unfolded, investigators discovered that Mr. Quinn was wanted in the investigation as well.”
He says a local community organization helped lead officers to Quinn Friday morning.
“Officers were able to get a vehicle description, and officers located that vehicle and took Mr. Quinn into custody.”
Officials say the shooting was believed to have been a result of a firearm sale dispute.

Five arrests were made in total. Officials say the shooting was believed to have been a result of a firearm sale dispute.
Morris Quinn is in custody.
A local community organization notified police of Quinn’s whereabouts in the city.
Quinn was taken into custody without incident.
Officers say they believe all people of interest in this incident have been interviewed and or are in custody.
Green Bay police are searching for a Wrightstown man in connection with a shooting on Shawano Avenue earlier this week.
Police say 28-year-old Morris Quinn is wanted for attempted homicide and armed robbery.
On Wednesday afternoon, officers were called to a residence at 997 Shawano Avenue for reports of a shooting.
Three people were taken into custody, with police seeking a fourth suspect.
On Thursday, investigators took a man and woman into custody in Gillet.
The woman was questioned and released while the man, 28-year-old Mitchel Belongia, of Gillett, was arrested.
Police are recommending charges of felon in possession of a firearm and bail jumping.
