GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Police have arrested a man in connection with the weekend armed robbery of a pharmacy.
The robbery happened Sunday around 1 a.m. at Walgreens, 1401 East Mason Street in Green Bay.
Police say the man showed a knife and left with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was hurt.
Police say surveillance images helped identify the 34-year-old man from Oneida.
Probation and parole officers helped investigators track down Marcus Lewis at a home in Ashwaubenon.
Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith says when any violent crime occurs in Green Bay, we know the fear it causes in the community.
“Our Investigators are relentless on finding the people responsible for these crimes as we had this suspect in custody in less than 48 hours. I want to thank the detectives and Probation and Parole in providing closure and keeping the city of Green Bay Safe.”
No charges have been filed in the case yet.
