TOWN OF FAIRBANKS, WI (WTAQ) – One person was found dead after a mobile home fire in Shawano County.
There are reports the victim is a 62-year-old woman.
Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the property on Hwy. M in the Town of Fairbanks, near Tigerton, around 4:45 Sunday morning.
A caller reported that both the trailer and a shed on the property were on fire.
The sheriff’s office believes the person whose body was found lived in the trailer.
An autopsy was scheduled for today (Monday).
The state fire marshal’s office is helping in the investigation.
