GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ)- The current weather system will stick around for awhile.
Timm Uhlmann of the National Weather Service in Green Bay says this one is on the larger size.
“Probably going to be one of our higher events for the entire season.”
About 8-10 inches of wet snow could fall in the Green Bay area.
Fluffier snow is expected further south.
The snow is expected to fall throughout the day on Tuesday and could impact travel both in the morning and evening.
“Travel impact is a strong focus. Both morning and evening travel could be impacted.”
For the most part, the area has dodged the snow bullet this season.
“The past three weeks, we have not really been seeing anything, but that is because the East Coast has been getting hammered and we have been sitting under the high-pressure system, but now I guess it is our turn.
The early indications are for more snow possible next week.
