During a stop at Fox Valley Technical College, Democrat Tammy Baldwin discusses desire to reintroduce the ‘America’s College Promise Act.’
Baldwin says it could save a full-time technical college student $3,800 per year.
“We have a student debt crisis in this country. All students should get the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge that they need to succeed in a career, without drowning in student debt.”
If all states took part, Baldwin says roughly 9-million students could benefit from the program.
