GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Officers are looking for a 29-year-old Green Bay man who they say kept them busy Tuesday.
Green Bay Police Captain Kevin Warych says David Teller Junior was involved in “a domestic situation where we’re recommending charges for Strangulation, two counts of misdemeanor Battery, two counts of Disorderly Conduct, and Knowingly Fleeing an Officer,” with further crimes being committed when officers located him.
“They tried to get him to surrender, but he chose to resist and then lead the officers on a vehicle pursuit through the city, and later onto I-41.”
Warych notes officers eventually terminated the pursuit, but not before a pair of vehicles were affected.
“Mr. Teller had rammed their squad cars in an effort to get away.”
The captain says the behavior did not come as a surprise.
“He had fled from an officer on a previous day in reference to another situation.”
Further details have not been released.
Anyone with information is asked to call police headquarters at 920-448-3200.
