GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A trial date has been set for the former Menominee Tribal Police officer accused of having inappropriate contact with a teenage girl on social media.
Basil O’Kimosh will head to trial on April 3.
Prosecutors say the 39-year-old contacted the 15-year-old on Facebook, later sending sexual pictures.
In court on Wednesday, Federal Judge William Griesbach denied a motion from the defense that would throw out alleged Snapchat conversations that took place between the officer and the victim.
The defense aruged that Fourth Amendment rights were violated, but that was not upheld.
