APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A gas leak has been repaired after a vehicle crashed into an Appleton business Tuesday morning.
Police say the driver of the vehicle was issued a citation. The driver was cited for going too fast for conditions, but was not injured.
It happened at the Xpolsive Audio Building. The 1400 block of West Wisconsin Avenue being closed while crews dealt with the effects of the severed gas main.
The area was closed to traffic for over two hours.
The area was evacuated, and there was nobody in the building at the time of the crash.
WE Energies and the Appleton Fire Department continue to clean the area.
