APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A group of students from various Fox Valley high schools has done something to help a family in need.
They’ve built a home for the Martinez family, who has been living in a mobile home since moving to Appleton in 2004.
Maria Martinez moved into the new house on Monday.
“It’s a life changing experience. I just want to thank everybody that took time out to build and construct our dream.”
The effort involved the Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity and was funded through donations.
