BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ)- The suspect of a distrubance that caused a large police presence last week was formaly charged in Brown County Court Tuesday.
40-year old Chay Vang was charged with two felony counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and five counts of criminal damage to property.
According to police, Vang was a former employee of Delaware North, the company that is the food service contractor at Lambeau Field.
Back on December 3rd, Vang got into a fight with a co-worker and was fired from his position, according to police reports.
Last week, Vang showed up at the Green Bay Police Department to discuss what he felt was illegal termination, which he was having trouble finding a different job to replace it.
Police reports indicate that Vang then went to Lambeau Field parking lot and noticed that same co-worker sitting in his vehicle.
According to police, Vang told them that at that time “I lost it”.
Police say Vang rammed his vehicle into the other vehicle several times.
The victim told police it was enough force to leave his vehicle pinned under a van that was parked.
According to the report, the victim got out of his car and ran towards the gates at Lambeau Field.
The victim told police that he feared that Vang would start shooting, but never saw a gun.
That reponse led to a call to police for an active shooter at Lambeau Field.
Police say they never found a weapona and Vang never had a gun on him.
Vang followed the man with his vehicle until he ended up in a storage area in Lambeau FIeld.
The stadium was never evacuated, according to police.
A cash bond of $10,000 was set for Vang.
