APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A 16-year-old Freedom High School student has been awarded with a music scholarship.
Tundraland has given Olivia Harn the award, which comes with a free electric guitar and a year of free music lessons.
Harn says she had to quit her school’s band after her family encountered some financial troubles.
“It means a lot to me, especially because I was under a lot of stress and music, it’s the same with drawing too, it’s just a form of letting me get feelings out.”
Harn will perform at next year’s Mile of Music festival in Appleton.
