GREENVILLE, WI (WTAQ) – A Fox Valley highway project is now expected to finish a year ahead of schedule.
During a Monday stop in Greenville, Governor Scott Walker announced that work on Highway 441/10 will wrap up in fall 2019.
That effort includes: completing the interchange with Interstate 41 in Fox Crossing, expanding the Roland Kampo Memorial Bridge over Little Lake Butte des Morts, and straightening out curves in the southern part of Highway 441 to allow for higher speed limits.
In addition, work on the Highway 441/Oneida Street diverging diamond interchange in Appleton will now reportedly be finished in 2018.
Walker says that’s the result of multiple projects within the 441 expansion plan wrapping up early, crediting competitive bids and low fuel costs.
