GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – An autopsy is scheduled to be done today (Monday) after a three-month-old boy was found dead in Green Bay.
Police received a report of a child unconscious and not breathing a little after 3 pm Sunday.
The boy was dead when police arrived at the residence in the 1300 block of East Walnut Street.
At this point, police say they’re not calling it a suspicious death… but they are investigating.
“There were no red flags on scene that led officers to determine a possible cause of death. The autopsy will determine our level of involvement and the direction of the investigation.”
Captain Kevin Warych says they’ve interviewed multiple people who were around the child before it died.
“Now it’s kind of putting everything together, understanding what each person said, to try to determine the timeline of what the baby did prior to it passing away.”
