GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Police is looking into a Monday night armed robbery at a local bar.
Captain Kevin Warych says a suspect entered the Packer Stadium Lounge, displayed a handgun, and demanded money.
“The perimeter and the track of the suspect produced negative results, which then led our investigators and our officers to speak with the victims and the witnesses. We’re following up on leads, trying to determine who the possible suspect (is) and process any evidence that was left at the scene.”
Nobody was injured.
Warych did not give a description of the suspect but says that person got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Based on past cases, he notes there tends to be a common theme with armed robberies.
“People target specific locations because they either know the people there or have some kind of experience with that establishment.”
