KEWAUNEE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A charitable effort that remembers a late Kewaunee County employee is back for its fifth year.
The Holiday Memorial Food Drive kicked off Monday.
It’s held in memory of human services worker Sarah Malay, who died in 2013.
Social Worker Rhonda Rummel says Malay was passionate about helping others.
“Sarah was a very compassionate person, always trying to find ways to give back to the community, and we thought this was a fitting memory for her to continue that giving and community focus that Sarah brought while she was with us.”
All donations go to the county’s food pantry.
Donations can be made through December 22.
