GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Plenty of Christmas shoppers are hitting the stores this weekend.
Those with kids on their lists are likely seeing a few popular items popping up.
Green Bay Target’s Eddi Flores says one of this year’s hottest toys is Hatchimals, which he notes was also last year’s favorite.
“A robotic doll. It comes in an egg. When you open it, it actually hatches. It does a variety of interactive engagements.”
Flores says Hatchimals are mainly geared toward girls, as is another of this year’s hottest toys: L.O.L. Surprise Dolls.
“You don’t know what’s inside of them. It can be an array of things. It comes with accessories that vary.”
According to Flores, a toy that is popular with both boys and girls is Fingerlings.
“An interactive monkey that responds to motion, touch, and sound. They latch onto your finger.”
Flores says toy brands that his customers say are popular include: Leapfrog, VTech, Nerf, Melissa and Doug, Our Generation, Little Live Pets, Imagine X, and Baby Alive.
