FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – Cash bond has been set at $10-thousand dollars for the 51-year-old Fond du Lac man accused of fatally crashing into a pedestrian last weekend.
Peter Anderson is accused of driving without a license when he reportedly killed Jeffrey Koenigs.
Officers say Anderson failed a field sobriety test, but blood test results are not yet available.
Police arrived on scene of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on East 2nd Street and Park Avenue.
A witness reported seing Koenigs in the crosswalk, but said Anderson never hit his breaks before impact.
Anderson told officials that he did not see Koenigs in the crosswalk, according to records.
Court records show that Anderson has two prior drunk driving convictions.
