NORTHEAST WI (WTAQ) -You may want to fill your gas tanks sooner than later.
Gas prices are have climbed and are expected to climb even more.
Patrick DeHaan of Gasbuddy.com says it has been a quick jump. “Prices in Green Bay are up about 7 cents a gallon in the last week. Prices started going up very quickly.”
Maintenance, and a possible leak at the oil refineries is assumed to be the reason, and because of that, DeHaan said you could see another spike.
“I do expect that prices will continue moving higher.”
Some of the regular refineriy maintenance was delayed due to hurricane activity this year.
DeHaan said that could be betwen 10 to 20 cents a gallon.
Green Bay prices are right about at State average as of Thursday.
