FOX CROSSING, WI (WTAQ)- Fox Crossing Police say a stabbing resulted from a drug transaction between several individuals Wednesday evening.
Police were notified of a 16-year-old Appleton teen in the hospital with a stab wound just after 9:00pm.
The investigation showed that a drug transaction was taking place in the 1100 block of Valley Road.
After a fight started, the suspect, a 17-year-old Neenah man, allegedly took a knife from his pocket and stabbed the teen.
Police say they located the suspect a short time later at a different residence in Neenah.
He was taken to the Winnebago County Jail on charges of 1st degree Reckless Injury.
Police say they are unsure of the victims condition, but do not believe the injuries are life threatening.
