DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) – Special needs children in Brown County got to celebrate Halloween a few days early on Thursday.
The Brown County United Way hosted the De Pere event, which gives the kids some experience trick or treating before the holiday arrives.
The United Way’s Miranda Knudson says “this event is a really fun way for them to have the same trick or treating experience as other kids have, in a really controlled environment.”
A variety of other Halloween-themed activities were also offered.
