OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Oshkosh Police says a woman was nearly sexually assaulted Saturday morning.
Investigators say it happened around 2:30 am in the 600 block of Scott Avenue.
The college-aged woman says she woke up to find a man on top of her.
He fled after the victim was able to fight him off.
Officers say there was no forced entry, and nothing was stolen.
They say the man’s description is similar to the suspect in a nearby incident, where a woman woke up Saturday morning to find a man standing next to her bed.
