GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Should there be increased security at the Resch Center?
The issue will be up for discussion at a County Board Committee meeting today.
The meeting’s agenda states, County Board Chair, Patrick Moynihan, will be proposing additional security measures at the Resch Center.
That proposal includes the funding for up to five metal detectors.
Although, the details are still unclear, officials at PMI Entertainment Group, which manages the Resch Center says safety is always their top priority.
Terry Charles, PMI Corporate Communications Manager, tells FOX 11….
“Certainly, anytime county officials are talking about security for our building, we’re certainly happy to hear that, obviously in today’s day and age, security is very important.”
The meeting is set for 5 p.m.
