APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A woman suffered non-life threatening injuries when struck in a hit-and-run incident near the Lawrence University campus.
Appleton Police says it happened around 11:30 pm Saturday at the intersection of College Avenue and Lawe Street.
Investigators say the vehicle hit the woman while she was walking through a crosswalk and then took off.
Officers say the driver was later located and arrested for driving while intoxicated and fleeing the scene.
