FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – The Fond du Lac Police Department is releasing the name of the victim who was found deceased in the vacant parking lot of 260 Forest Avenue, as 30 year old Logan C. Foster of Fond du Lac.
On September 23, 2017 at approximately 7:40 a.m., the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a call of a male lying in the parking lot of 260 Forest Ave.
Upon the Officers arrival, they discovered Foster lying on the ground with injuries to his body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Fond du Lac Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says “we’re not releasing any details on the manner of death at this point. However, we do believe that the victim is the victim of a homicide.”
Fond du Lac Police Investigators believe the incident leading up to Foster’s death took place in the area of 260 Forest Avenue, across from the Press Box Tavern in the early morning hours of September 23, 2017.
“We do believe that the victim was at the Press Box Tavern earlier in the evening.”
Klein says “at this point, we do not have any suspects identified. We believe that the incident which led up to the death of Mr. Foster occurred in that gravel parking lot. We are awaiting results of the autopsy. Once we have that information, we will release additional information as it becomes available.”
