FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A 24-year-old Waupun man will spend nearly eight years in prison for trying to kidnap a woman last Thanksgiving.
Juan Arriaga admitted he had been drinking and was lonely prior to punching the victim, who was able to get away and run for help.
Arriaga was arrested following a short chase with Waupun officers.
In addition to 7 3/4 years behind bars, Arriaga will also spend 7 1/2 years under extended supervision.
