HORTONVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – UPDATE: Investigators have ruled the death a suicide.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice is assisting with a death investigation in Hortonville.
The investigation is focused on an apartment building at 307 Lakeview Avenue.
Wednesday morning just before 11:30, the Hortonville Police Department, Hortonville/Hortonia EMS, and Gold Cross Ambulance were dispatched for a medical incident.
Once they arrived, Officers found a woman at the residence that appeared to be deceased.
Due to concerns about the scene, the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations was contacted to assist.
A DOJ spokesperson says officers do not believe there is any threat to the public.
