GREEN BAY (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Area Public School District has called a news conference for 1 p.m. Wednesday to discuss allegations of unsafe conditions at Washington Middle School.
Sixth grade teacher Kerstin Westcott made a shocking description of conditions at the school when she announced her resignation at a school board meeting earlier this month.
She said students and staff members were “physically, verbally, emotionally, and mentally, sexually abused” every day by students in the building.
In a statement Tuesday, Superintendent Michelle Langenfeld said the district “will continue and expand our support of the efforts” to improve conditions at the school.
